At two and three we are wildly INNOCENT and EXUBIRENT. We have boundless energy, the unquenchable thirst for discovery, the CURIOUSITY of a dozen cats, rocket scientists and Hardy Boy detectives. Plus, an overactive IMAGINATION that defies description and is LIMITLESS. The world itself or what we know of it is likened to a sculptors clay in our hands; a gigantic, just made for us Shakespearian theater wherein, the people, the animals, trees, hills, forests, rivers and ponds; the sun, moon and planets are all the props necessary to create the PLAY we happen to be in-visioning at a given time of DAY or NIGHT.

We can spend hours in this place of pretend and never grow tired. It is here where the sense of the ARTIST within us reveals itself as fresh, vibrant and fully ALIVE. And the world about becomes whatever we wish and choose it to be. All shapes, textures, forms and colors signify the larger palette. Time and space are joined as partners in a DANCE of dynamic and surrealistic WONDER. Whereby, MOVEMENT becomes the call of the day, but only in the convenience of the moment. In this place the MOMENT is all that matters. The past is yesterday or last week, but not much more. The future is light years away and stretches beyond the imagination. In this place we are the stars and adults are welcome only through invitation. In this place of make believe everything is POSSIBLE. All and more come alive before our eyes. We are on stage as the ACTORS and take our place behind and in front as the DIRECTORS, SCRIPTWRITERS and often the AUDIENCE rolled into one.
It is a time for knowing our MAGIC, POWER and touching the depths of our inner CORES. It is a time when we begin the steps for LEARNING how to live and tell our stories and finding the GIFTS and MAPS that we will need for the PATHS that we are to take in the WORLD.

THE CALLING

Listen! Listen! Not with ear but with open heart.
Listen closely to the haunting stillness of the earth,
To the voice of eagle, pine and rock.
Just listen! They speak to us.
Listen to the voice of cosmos and the dark mystery.
To the foreboding voice of ancestors cradled long in death's sleep.
Can we hear them?
Can we hear the voice of our own prophets and messengers?
The child's innocence?
And what of our internal voice, or have we turned deaf ears to this too?
Can we hear the asking?
Is it not time to move?
Is it not long overdue to awaken from apathy and denial sleep?
Is it not time to come alive and to be in this world?
Is it not time to be warriors? To serve?
Is it not time to heed the voice of collective soul?
Can we hear them yet? Their inquiry.
Why are we still afraid to break the chains that make us prisoners of our numbing and arrogant ways? The self-destruction, blindness and misdeeds.
Why are we still afraid to look beyond our fears, our greed and pride at a greater vision and destiny? A destiny we must partake.
Why are we still afraid to look into the emptiness and remember again our origin?
Why are we still afraid to surrender the grasp of shallow wants and to retrieve our forgotten dreams? What are we waiting for?
Is it not time to gather a new collective vision?
Is it not time to give with selfless commitment that goes beyond our childish wishes and whims?
Is it not time to be fully conscious? To be awake and alert?
To become participant travelers of future's journey? Are we listening now?
We say to you there's work to be done.
A future to dream.
A world to build.
An earth to heal and hearts to awaken.
We say to you no-one else can do it but you yourselves.
You have to grow and become of age.
Can you hear the calling?

BECOMMING THE WORLD

We are born into this world as seasoned sons and daughters of a greater ancestral, archetypal family that comprises more than just that of a single species, form or process, thought or feeling. While we may breath, move and continue to evolve through the functions of the greater family context. We are "but" one part of the many. Hence, we are family with the world of the seen and unseen, the human, plants, mineral, galaxy and universe: This vast and living mystery that makes all things relatives of one.
From our first breath and subsequent births and deaths through the necessary stages and cycles of maturity our task and mission is to search for the clues of the greater mystery and give meaning, healing and structure to its order from which we all share and have membership; no matter, if we stand, walk, crawl, fly, burrow or swim. Through this search we learn to find and know our place and destiny in all of this and to make our contribution to its livelihood.
We come equipped with all the necessary seed tools, knowledge and skills. Our greatest challenge through lessons and time is to find the best ways to use them. We also carry within ourselves the secrets for how to use these sources and must learn to awaken to these and to decode their messages so that they may be revealed to us through our many initiations, choices and actions within ourselves, through one another, nature and the many kinds of encounters with the "creative". We learn the integral steps that bridge with these sources. To do and to find this we must reach beyond the archaic and the inherited beliefs and patterns of cultural and social imprinting to the deeper core of our being. Here in we find the maps needed for selecting and if necessary re-selecting the most suitable path we need to take in this life: Those that are more fitting for our needs, temperament and callings. From these we find again and know our rightful place in the grand order and scheme as full partners and members of one "lifeblood" tribe and cosmic nation.
When we are able to retrace the many steps, processes, cycles that we have passed through since our inception and coming we are able to re-remember and to re-recognize our pre-birth assignment and to join in its calling personally as well as collectively.
It doesn't matter what race we are, be it red, black, white or yellow, or what gender we may be, or what religion we practice or not or whether we are rich or poor, lay or professional or what country we may live or even if we are not of this earth. On another level or cycle we are all joined through the invisible thread that bonds us in spirit, mind and body, as a species and family. What is inherit for us all is to find the means necessary to co-exist and to learn the virtues contained within the essence of living. Living that has a sense of meaning, beauty and power within and of itself. Without this, it is not only our lives that lack the substance and capacity, but all aspects of life however, big or small as a whole. How we choose and what paths and tools guide us through our journeys influence and determine how we take part in the life of the world and become or not its richest and most vital link in it's and our continued evolution toward the infinite domain.

Real freedom is something we are all BORN with. It has to do with our character and authentic sense of being. To obtain it is not simple or easy because it is not anything tangible. At least as we believe and know it and have been taught. It cannot be owned, bought or sold. It cannot be given to a person by another one, group, organization, government or country. It cannot be legislated or put into law. Not real freedom. Real freedom takes a CONSCIOUS effort; willfully we might say, of working at it day-by-day, moment by moment to awaken to it. It is a state of GRACE, EMPOWERMENT, HARMONY and JOY that transcends the archaic messages given to us by culture, society and those passed on through the generations.
To have real freedom and to know its depth requires that we be willing to know ourselves nakedly and as fully as possible. To understand each and every dimension of our lives be it personal, social, professional or global. We also have to know where we stand spiritually as well. But, understanding that our spirituality doesn’t require that we adhere to any one particular faith or belief. As all beliefs, methods and systems are born and evolve through spirit.
What is even more important than the rest is letting go of the notion that we are free.
FREEDOM is not a fixed or static form or condition. Indeed, as many have taught and practiced throughout time. It is an evolving process and part of the SACREDNESS of life.
This being the most cherished gift of our existence. But, we must be mindful that because it is a gift that it must be shared. Only then can it work in our lives. Until this has happened no one is free and then we all share in the SLAVERY.

WHEN we can choose consciously to be in this world... befriend our shadowed fears… let die archaic habits and wishes… find the challenges through lessons that life brings… speak honestly in all relationships and circumstances.

FILL up our circles with more creative possibilities that empower and heal… and forgive both ourselves and others for pain we’ve caused…

ONLY then are we ready to leave the darkness and move towards the light, our destiny and missions and take their lead.
